I am just a girl from Iowa seeking a new path.  

LOTS of things interest me and I'm having a hard time deciding on ONE topic to focus on.  

The goal of this site is to add to my services as I continue on my journey. 

In the past I was a Cosmetologist.

My shop was in the basement of my house.

I absolutely LOVED this!!!

... but my career came to a screeching halt a few years ago.

I had an accident

which changed my career path

in the matter of a second.

I was no longer able to use my hands to continue with my profession ...

so I've been seeking other alternatives for work.

While I've been looking, learning, and trying to decide what I NOW want to do with the rest of my life,

I've been driving for Uber/Lyft.

This is ideal for my boyfriend and I

because I can do this from wherever we're at!  

We sold our house a few years ago and bought a 5th-Wheel camper.

We travel for his work, he does electrical.

So far we've been to 7 different places!

Every time we relocate

I try to focus more on my search for remote work.

Throughout this journey I've purchased  a LOT of courses!

I'm talking from A to Z basically,

because LOTS of things interest me!!!

I have courses for Bookkeeping.

Affiliate Marketing,

Drop-shipping products,

Merchant Services,

Real-Estate investing. etc.

My goal is to focus on ONE opportunity and give it my all.

With the help and support of friends and family, I've decided to dive all-in to the tedious work of Bookkeeping!!!

As a bookkeeper I can continuously keep learning, (if I choose to).

Taxes interest me.

(This might be something I look into in the future?)

I choose Bookkeeping

not only because I've always had an interest in numbers and organization,

but also because of the flexibility now available.

In fact, years ago, (before attending Cosmetology school),

I attended College and I actually registered for some Accounting courses.

Throughout the years of owning/operating my Salon

I did my books myself.

I kept books for my Uncle when he owned a garden center.

and Back in the day I kept books for a Construction Company friend of mine.

I've ALWAYS had an interest in this!!!

Now I have the desire to invest in myself again and learn something new.

I look forward to seeing where this will take me!

The fact that Bookkeeping no longer requires you to sit behind a desk all day in an office

makes this totally appealing to me.

I can do this remotely,

from wherever I/we happen to be calling home,

at any given time!!!
